The new software means that I can't change my username to "Santa Claus," but, well NS asked, so here it goes:

 

Jolly old St. Nicholas, 
Lean your ear this way!
Don't you tell a single soul, 
What I'm going to say;
Christmas Eve is coming soon; 
Now, you dear old man,
Whisper what you'll bring to me: 
Tell me if you can.

When the clock is striking zero, 
When we need a Sabres hero,
Into the arena in blue and gold, 
You’ll send us a scorer, big and bold!
All the lockers you will find 
Laid out in a row;
Jeff’s will be the shortest one, 
You'll be sure to know.

Bogo needs a set of balls, Skinner needs a center;
Risto wants some decent calls, and JB’s on a bender.
Choose for me, old Santa Claus. What you think is right.

For this, this is my sh**ty poem for tonight:

 

Jolly old Scott SDS
Lean your ear this way!
Please tell every single soul, 
What I'm going to say;
PA Sabre deserves a nice night, 
but we all still miss Corp and Knight.
And as we think of posters of old,
Let us remember those who now are bold.
We’ve got Liger who tells of prospects,
and Inkman who still is obsessed with sex.

There’s new ones like the guy from IU, 
who can’t seem to get that his college teams are poo.
Josie's still here, and NS too,
And this would rhyme better if that guy’s name were Hickiedoo.

And still there are challenges, like pi2000,
whose name doesn’t rhyme with anything, so he’s a jerk and I’m not even bothering with rhythm.

Freeman is here, and so is spndnchz,
They might let you post, if you say please.
We’ve got Wildnwoody and also WildCard,
But they’re more mild than wild, so says this bard.

If you find that your name is not here,
please, please do not have any fear!
For l love you all, and want to mention Tondas,
‘cause it’s the only name that rhymes with “Merry Christmas”!
