Ralph must not like the guy.  It is obvious he is not having a good game.  Keeping struggling goal tenders in is bad coaching.  IMO

Right ?

Doesn’t want to pull the birthday boy.

I can't say I don't have a smidge of worry that Jack is just going to be one of those guys that can never quite string together a full 82.

82 a season?

Hell, I seriously doubt he's here following next season. The reality is he's going to force a trade. I mean think about it, 5 years, 5 years of your career completely wasted due to poor management, with no end in sight and not even serious attempts to fix it.

I don't see Jack here past next season, sorry, but Botterill or whoever is not fixing this by next year, it's that bad.

They will make him stay the full contract.  Milk him for all he is worth and then let him walk because no one wants to pay dearly for a rental player.

It may depend on what happens with Sam.  If Sam is gone, Jack will not want to stick around.

Jack could care less what Sam is going to do. Jack Eichel doesn't need Sam Reinhart, Sam Reinhart needs Jack Eichel.

We're talking about a top 10 league wide player here that is looking at the first 10 years of his career meaning nothing. Sam isn't even in his thought process when it comes to that.

Botterill would have to be woken up first

Hey, give Botterill a break, players like O'Regan, Sobotka, and Berglund aren't available every day!

And besides, do you know how hard it is to figure out what 30 goal scorer is destroying your locker room?

All the niche role players fall into place to a reasonable degree if Eichel is in. When he's out, we have no one that drives play. It's not a top heavy construction, it's a "the GM must be fully aware he built a one man team" construction.

So, when did jack get hurt? Do we only have 10 forwards and 7D on the bench?

Curious if he's really hurt or if this is some thing by RK to see where the team is at without Jack.
