Players are a more valuable commodity than coaches or GMs.  If Botterill and Krueger can't build around proven goal scorers, you fire them before trading the players.

With that being said, as you look at the AHL pipeline and the current roster, I don't see any size with snarl and speed in the foreseeable short term future with this club barring a trade.

It’s unfathomable that this franchise has sucked for so long, and has so little in the system to look to for help.  Disgusting

Okay Mister Serious.  There are teams who have cap space who might want to upgrade their third or fourth line to make a deep push in the play offs.  It happens.  There.  Are you happy?  Adding tape and a couple of hockey bags to the mix

No. A team won’t. Again ... not with his cap hit, and Injury history. They can get younger. Better, healthier players. And often do. He would be a black hole in the playoffs anyway.
