Beer Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 Do you folks think Jack has established himself as a top 5 centerman with this streak? I think so. He’s been so damn impressive over this stretch. 1 Quote
Stoner Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 @New Scotland (NS) With all this rump talk, there's a line I can't quite nail down. Margaret was worried that she was gaining weight. Hawkeye agreed and said something about when she walks away from someone it looks like two something or others wrestling in a handbag. Help. Quote
matter2003 Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 (edited) Sabres absolutely dominated the 2nd period and that was a rocket by Olafsson to tie it...he has been a revelation...dude has a good shot at 30+ goals which is pretty impressive for a rookie even if he is 24. Sabres need a good 3rd. Even penalty kill has been good allowing very few shots and had an odd man rush...definitely need to do better than winning 20% of the faceoffs like they have through 2 periods. Sabres starting to really play consistent good hockey and limiting their lapses...Kreuger is putting his stamp on this team and they are finally starting to believe in themselves and show some mental toughness instead of cracking like a raw egg at the first sign of any trouble. Torpedo Forecheck Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 I think Jokiharu has seen his play drop off recently Quote

He knew what to do to defend that ... he just needs to be stronger when he does it. He is 20 and he will get stronger. The Isles are strong on the puck. Quote

He and Risto are the only D-men who have played every game this season. He has only played 38 games with Chicago previously. Wondering if fatigue is a possibility. Quote

Stoner Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 Eichel pinned to the boards flings the puck behind the net with one hand on his stick. Remarkable. Quote

Pimlach Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 Islander holding and grabbing a lot and the refs are watching but seem to have put away the whistles. It would be nice to get a call after the calls they made on us in the second. Need a goal somehow. Quote
Stoner Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 On the Isles' goal, Johansson passes up a chance to try and feed Skinner, and Skinner loses a puck battle high in the zone. Quote
North Buffalo Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 Can they hold Jack anymore in front of the ref with no call 2 Quote
sabresparaavida Posted December 14, 2019 Report Posted December 14, 2019 Good work in the zone by our first line Quote

I was waiting for that. There were a lot of plays not made on that goal. Linus has has been great but he was not at his best on either of their goals. Quote
