And before someone responds by saying "well other teams don't always respond", let me cut that off by saying this: In Buffalo, NY, you respond. 7 5 Quote
Thorner Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 (edited) Just totally sad. Depressing. - - - Purely on a hockey level, zero chance Botterill moves for a forward now. Gotta be full healthy for that, apparently. Edited November 26, 2019 by Thorny Quote
LGR4GM Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 Weak response from Ralph. At at bare minimum call the hit trash. Just now, Thorny said: Just totally sad. If botterill ***** says anything about d depth now that Dahlins hurt, well then I will become the conductor of the fire botterill train. 4 Quote
Brawndo Posted November 26, 2019 Author Report Posted November 26, 2019 GMTM would have used at least one hundred different versions of F Bombs to the off ice officials to describe his feelings about the no call Quote

He was talking about keeping the D-depth before the injury took place so I doubt that changes. Zero response on ice. We'll see if GM JB has any response off of it. 1 minute ago, Brawndo said: GMTM would have used at least one hundred different versions of F Bombs to the off ice officials to describe his feelings about the no call Miss Lindy. 2 Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 Very bad for a young guy. Once the concussion train starts it is hard to stop. That was a serious hit. I would be shocked if we see #26 before Christmas. Quote

There is a zero percent chance you will be satisfied with the outcome. You literally have to attempt murder on the ice to get any sort or real suspension. Edited November 26, 2019 by inkman Quote

Botterill told us this summer that he was okay trading D for a F because he liked our depth. He said that if he had to play Fitzgerald or Borgen in the NHL due to injuries, that would be fine and wouldn't stop him from making a move. There is a glut of like 6 guys insulating them at this point, and he's still talking about "retaining depth for November." Things aren't consistent 1 hour ago, Thorny said: Miss Lindy. sabremike Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 If this team has even an ounce of pride that New Years Eve game will be an Isles-Pens Fight Night style bloodbath with Tampa players being beaten all over their ice to the point they go crying to the league like bullies who can dish it out but can't take it. Though perhaps they foresaw the mutiny that may have arisen had they let him walk. Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted November 26, 2019 Report Posted November 26, 2019 I’ll give Bogo a pass for not stepping up on Cernak only because he just came back. Larry and Lazar have no excuses. Whatever happened to physical Risto? I don’t see him fighting but crushing someone in the corner would’ve been nice. Quote
