We just have too many guys who are here to play a defensive role specifically, that add almost no offence. Too many role players. Sobotka, Vesey, Larsson, Girgensons, Okposo. That's 42% of the forwards. When Mittelstadt and Sheary aren't producing, over half our lineup in *incapable* of producing goals. 

Botterill did a good job bringing in some talent guys who can contribute (Skinner, Johansson) but people said all summer it was also about moving out some of the lower guys and bettering our depth. The goals are still coming from Eichel, Reinhart, and Skinner, (and Johansson) and that's it, unless Olofsson regains his PP form.

from what i've been able to see, this is a fun game to watch. and the sabres are being outclassed.
