All it will take is time to pass for the 3rd line to score goals reliably as two of the three skaters (the wingers) have multiple years of being in the top six in ES points per minutes on their teams, and Mitts has grown this year. They've played well today. 

Also the official Flagg Sabres defenseman rating for this season is as follows:
1.) Jokiharju
2.) Gilmour
3.) Scandella
4.) The rest are tied

We are so loaded on defense that at least 1 and possibly 2 defensemen will be traded. I’m not sure who has the most value.

Ehh. How many games has Gilmour played? Dahin's metrics were really strong his first few, too

I would put VO on Mitts’s Wing. He won’t see the other teams top lines as much and it will give him a chance to learn to create space at the NHL Level during 5v5 Play
