We are going to need some of that its a long season.. Quote
Brawndo Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 Interesting stat from Twitter. The Sabres have responded to both regulation losses this year with a shutout win the next game. 6 Quote
dudacek Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 Wouldn’t call it an inspired game, but a workmanlike defensive effort against a team that can’t really score. Another losing streak avoided. Linus was so dialled in and is full marks for the shutout, but there was structure in front of him. Three shutouts in 12 games means something. 4 Quote
triumph_communes Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 Not impressed tonight but yay 2 ptns shutout Quote
darksabre Posted October 26, 2019 Author Report Posted October 26, 2019 Winning after losing is really all you can ask for as an indicator of whether or not you have a good team. 7 Quote

R_Dudley Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 Tops in the East with Wash 2 behind and we see them before our trip abroad. Sure is going to be an telling test of games coming up but I am looking forward to seeing what we got.. Quote
... Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 Wow, that's a bad cut above McCabe's eye. No one knows what happened? Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 In the glow of Linus's shutout, it's easy to forget that our defensive depth was on display tonight. They played most of the first without McCabe. Gilmour looked pretty solid. Risto played monster game. 4 Quote

Doohicksie Posted October 26, 2019 Report Posted October 26, 2019 Olofsson was scary to watch handle the puck the first few games. Now he's getting scary good. He's grown a LOT in the first 12 games of the season, and still improving. 2 Quote
