Isn’t it wonderful that players just seem to take turns stepping up? I thought Risto was good tonight. Love how he didn’t know the winner was in until the crowd erupted, and then the pure joy when it did. Casey Mittelstadt is growing up before our eyes. The OT was the type of play that will become his bread and butter. Flat out hustle, and when a crack appeared he pounced. I said it after 5 games and I will say it again, I still haven’t seen this defensive black hole that was supposed to be Vesey’s defining trait. it’s also nice to see he’s starting to make some offence happen too.
