In Quantum Mechanics II a couple semesters ago, I had safely padded my grades with a second midterm exam score that was well above the class average. I still did the homework and studied for the final, and thought I did pretty well, and somehow wound up getting a 32%. The score was so bad it was funny, and was harmless in the grand scheme of things, I still safely passed the class.

That's what this game was. The Sabres have played enough good hockey this season that I don't care about the last two periods and can simply laugh at how goofy the numbers wound up looking.

6-1-1, two more points banked baby! We're now behind the vaunted 08-09 team's pace to start though ?

Get some rest and BEAT THE SHARKS

And put Skinner back with Jack because at this point I just miss my smiley friend Jeff pumping in goals from his pal

With a 1 or 2 goal lead I agree.  But with a 3 goal lead, I like it.

I'd love to see the percentage of time each of these leads is lost in the third period. I'd put money on there being a MASSIVE drop between 2 and 3.

This game may or may not have been quantum physics.  We can't know for sure.

Deep man, deep.
