That's bottom six money all day. Bottom 6 maybe but bottom 12 has to be lower and often is. Boston, for example, pays Wagner and Kuraly around 1.2 million each and they play similar roles to Larsson and Girgs. If your top 6 is really good, you have little choice but to go low at the bottom. The solution, of course, is lots of intro contracts. Cozens, Asplund, Borgen maybe. If you get enough young guys on the roster you might have some money to burn - for a while. Quote
