Brawndo Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Anaheim and Edmonton are good examples of how a bad coach can hold a team back Quote
Wyldnwoody44 Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 If the refs wanted to get ahold of this game they would have tossed and number of 3 transgressions that the ducks did (olafsson, girgs, sobotka) Hell even a 10 min would show some message. Let's hope they Alamo and sabres light them up for a 6-4 win 1 Quote

Should be a 4 minute PP. You can’t just jump a guy like that. The boarding should have been 5m too, and that's the 2nd time they've jumped us. Absolute garbage reffing tonight Quote
Pimlach Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Guys my fandom goes back to the Buffalo Bisons so I love the old time goon hickey and the fights but those days are gone. If we had Lucic or Reaves In the line-up it probably would not stop the bad hits. The Ducks are taking advantage their size against the youth of Olofsson and Dahlin. We need to keep sticking up for ourselves and beat them with or power play. If we lose we need to build grit from it There are lots of games to be played The big advantage for Ducks right now is Gibson at home with a 2goal lead. 2 Quote

WildCard Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Not sure Dahlin can play any worse tonight Quote
Thorner Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Sam had a great pass earlier but he's had a poor game overall Quote

The Sabres' response has been fine. Quote

Scottysabres Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 still unable to handle the high pressure pk. and the passing and puck control isn't helping. Quote

Randall Flagg Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Risto awful with the puck on his stick this period 1 Quote
SwampD Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Risto should have just got a penalty. Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 I consider this year as playing with house money. Cozens will be added to the top 6 and we will makes moves to fix that 3rd line. Next year we should for sure be what Carolina is this year. Quote
Thorner Posted October 17, 2019 Report Posted October 17, 2019 Weren't we weirdly good on west coast trips when our team was bad? Maybe now it's the reverse. 1 Quote

It's been as fine as it can be with the personnel available, just like it was with Ryan Miller. It's what they can do with this team. I wouldn't mind it if there was a little more grit in the lineup, but they only have to play ***** teams like this a few times per year, so ok. Quote
