Taro T Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 On HNIC, Scott Burnside just said that Olofsson and Jokiharju were told by Botterill "to go get a house, you're staying for a while." Good for them, they've both been solid. 8 1 Quote
Scottysabres Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 Well, that sets up a very interesting situation on the RHD scenario. Once Montour and Bogosain return I can't see 2 of them sitting in the press box. Throw in the Risto rumors and it looks like Botterill has a couple of highly coveted trade chips. Hello? Winnipeg? Hello? Quote
darksabre Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 Jokiharju getting the permanent promotion is very interesting. 2 Quote

Don't notice him too much out there, which means he's playing well.... he plays like a veteran and he's still only 20. Still can't believe they got him for Nylander. What a steal. 3 Quote

Yup, he's played great. I just didn't think Botterill would tip his hand about the right d situation so soon. 2 Quote

Yeah, not sure I trust the source on that one. Seems like an odd thing to tell somebody outside the organization... and there have been very few leaks under JBOT. 4 Quote

Hello? It definitely seems like somebody will be getting moved should Bogosian ever be ready to play again. Even when Montour is ready to go, it'll be interesting to see who comes out of their lineup. Jokiharju seemed like he'd be a target to go down if he'd be the guy coming out of the lineup. But if he's here for the duration, something else would have to be happening. The trade to improve the forwards makes sense, but maybe they just slide somebody to the left side and sit Scandella. 1 Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 This could also mean that Montour, Pilut and Bogo aren’t even close to being ready. 2 Quote

Brawndo Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 From his appearance yesterday. I doubt he plays this year Quote

Not sure where I heard it but it was said that Bogo had some setbacks over the summer. I also thought he was playing in a summer league, so I'm not real sure how much truth to it. Quote

After he's actually been out 10 games, then that is correct. Prior to that, having him designated LTIR prevent him from returning until 10 games have been played should he have a miraculous recovery one morning. Would guess that part of the decision to not designate him as such is Bogosian himself probably doesn't want the designation. Considering they don't need the space yet, no harm in not designating him. Quote

Tondas Posted October 13, 2019 Report Posted October 13, 2019 Maybe so. If they send him to Rockford, I think he'll be in Sweden next year for good. Quote
