Brawndo Posted October 8, 2019 Author Report Posted October 8, 2019 Krueger confirms that EROD is playing tomorrow Quote
msw2112 Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 It's nice to have a little depth for a change. E-Rod is a competent NHL player. We're not scraping the AHL bowl for a callup. Let's hope E-Rod takes advantage of the opportunity. 1 Quote

jsb Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 Well this is ERod's chance to show just because he's an awful practice player that he could bring it in a real game. After yesterdays game, I think if they move out Sobotka, they need to replace him with someone who has some girth to his game and not another Chihuahua. Quote
woods-racer Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 I wouldn't be surprised if Vesey is bumped before Sobotka. I bet E-rod clicks with Mittelstadt and leaves slow skating Vesey looking out of it. 1 Quote
Pimlach Posted October 8, 2019 Report Posted October 8, 2019 Did not know Sheary was hurt and out. I was hoping to see Erod for either Vessey or Sobotka. Not sure Vessey is playing as well as Tage would be. He always seems to be late to the play. Quote

I actually first saw that spelled out as a word right here on Sabrespace. I use it frequently. (You're referring to innit, right?) 1 Quote

Hard to say. Quote
shrader Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 The thing that bugs me about Sheary getting hurt is how he scored early last year and then fell off the cliff. If he's going to avoid falling into that trap again this year, the early injury doesn't help. I really hope he gets over this quickly and go back to being a guy who will throw in a goal every 4th or 5th game. Quote

Difficult decisions for a coach when a player comes back from injury are a really good thing. Quote
