miles Posted October 7, 2019 Report Posted October 7, 2019 I just looked at the Sabres roster and its showing Luukkonen. Are the sabres running with 3 goaltenders Quote
inkman Posted October 7, 2019 Report Posted October 7, 2019 His gigantic melon was spotted on the bench during the home opener ceremony Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted October 7, 2019 Report Posted October 7, 2019 Look at Capfriendly. He is on something called “season opening injured reserve” Quote

His injuries occurred in Junior and he had surgery over the summer. He'll be an Amerk when he heals up and a Sabre a year or 2 after that. Quote
Doohicksie Posted October 7, 2019 Report Posted October 7, 2019 He was introduced during the home opener. I guess they figured why not, let him enjoy the bright lights. Quote

And the $$$. I don't think the NHL allows the Sabres to send an injured player down but showing the future number 1 (fingers crossed) a little love could go a long way. 1 Quote
Formerly Allan in MD Posted October 9, 2019 Report Posted October 9, 2019 He'll be out awhile. Goalies don't hop right back into the net following dual hip surgeries. Quote
