I’m not liking the lateral movement of Linus.  He seems slow.

Didn't Linus have a BIG problem with wrap-arounds last year?

Good test for the Sabres.  Facing a strong team on their ice.  Two late goals hurts.  Look to see how they bounce back.  Tighten up the sloppy play.

Well, we gave Columbus everything they got. Crap period but all Buffalo's fault. Play right, play better and win.

First time we've been trailing this season.

Risto a tad slow on the uptake there.

He should have known the puck was going to deflect behind the net and come out the other side. He should also have shape-shifting powers.

Some of you try too hard.

Ok so the excitement is over and it’s back to earth. Interesting to see how RK gets them to respond.  Lots of time yet to settle down and get back to work. Torts is being very aggressive and taking away lanes and lots of forecheck.

Our first experience with an opponent not willing to gift us space hand-wrapped with a bow tie did not go well.

We'll adjust though. And a 2 goal lead is meaningless when Korpisalo is in goal.

This is sorta why I stuck with Columbus as a playoff team. Their roster is still built for their game.

I thought both of our goalies did.

Not blaming Linus, but we need the goalie to come up big in order to get back in this one.

Agreed. He had him tied up for all except the .2 seconds that the puck was free, and even then, if a guy gets loose, you want him to do it on that side of you, not in the slot. It was a lucky bounce.

He could have just stuck with his man.
