Gosselin is the weak link on the blueline today.

Cozens sure hasn’t lacked creativity tonight.

I’m glad that Gosselin is included. He was a late signing last year and did a decent job. I’m guessing Taylor liked what he saw because he quickly earned a fair amount of ice time going into the playoffs. It’s good to get these guys going so soon.

Not going to read through all of it. How did RaKru look?

I was there but who????

Side note,  pegula, botterill and Krueger were up in the box watching together.

Also mike Grier is still pretty jacked. Just saw him dt at an establishment

How was Cozens vision and awareness?  Did he skate into traffic with the puck?

Better than I expected. He picked up his man well defensively and made some pristine passes through traffic to set up good chances.

And yes.

I feel like this implies he can't or wasn't aware. He drove the net a couple times but seemed fairly aware of his teammates. He moved well in the pp before taking his shot. It was a very hard low shot that was just a flick of his wrist.

He got better each period I thought and the goal in the 2nd seemed to boost his confidence. I also noticed some more puck skills. Still has work to do but he did stand out more than Hughes. I might rewatch the feed to see if that was the case though.

I can see Pi's and Sizzle's reservations w.r.t. Cozens. I think he's going to get better in the areas he has them concerned but I can see where they're coming from.

Also, I'd honestly rather sit Joki and Olofsson the last two games, and wrap them in bubble wrap until training camp this week

How far off is Pekar from the NHL?  Great glue guy to have

I would think two AHL seasons with some call-ups year two and then possibly a shot at the roster in three years. He’s far from an NHL guarantee.

Disagree. He’s the player that will make it, just a matter of when. He’s always played up to better competition when he’s faced it.
