Don't really have too much to offer on Martin but i'd say my favorite memory of his was few years after being drafted by the Sabres, during a Flames game on CBC, the camera showed a fan in all Flames gear going absolute nuts, and i don't even think it was after a goal, just a random before a puck drop moment, and that ended up being Brycen Martin. I remember people were upset at him on the twitter machine.

To be fair, that team apparently spelled their name wrong on the initial founding paperwork. Rather than fix it, they decided to run with it.

“Of course, there is that one minor issue with the name, which is that the team name is "Komets" instead of "Comets". You may be wondering why they did that. It turns out that the original owner's wife was named Kathryn; the owner thought that since she spelled Catherine with a K instead of a C, it would be a good idea to do the same with Comets.”

Lucky her name wasn't Veronica or the name of the team may have been "Vomits."
