Really interesting seeing all the votes for Sweetness given there is debate about whether he is the best RB all time, let alone greatest player.

Payton was my football hero in the 80s.

NHL – Wayne Gretzky.

MLB – Deadball era (Ruth), modern (Mays),  post modern (Trout)

NFL – Brady (as much as I hate it)

NBA – Jordan

Golf –  Nicklaus

Tennis – Serena Williams

Boxing – Ali.

Beach Volleyball - Walsh/Treanor

Curling - Kevin Martin

Rollerball - Jon-a-than

Tennis is interesting.  

Womens - Martina, Steffi or Serena?  Steffi was virtually unbeatable for a decade. Serena has been better longer.

Mens - Federer, Nadal, Djokovic.  Since Agassi won’t the first major of 2003, these 3 guys have won 56 of the next 66 majors. Domination or no depth to the game?

I would put Sampras ahead of Nadal, but it’s close.

No French Open for Sampras. I can't put him ahead without a Slam on 3 surfaces.
