SabresBeat Posted April 14, 2006 Report Posted April 14, 2006 Game Day Thread...Go Sabres Game # 80 Single Day Event On: 4/15/2006
Corp000085 Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Time for miller's last start before the carolina game on tuesday... I just hope we have a good warmup before the toronto game tomorrow.
LabattBlue Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 Sabres 2 Montreal 1 as they start to tighten up play in their own zone for the playoffs.
deluca67 Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 I love spring time. I get the Leafs radio station in the spring and summer. They actually think they are going to the playoffs. It's great. I can't wait until their dreams are crushed. The worst thing about being a Leaf fan? Wishing every day that your favorite team would have been the Habs. And Go Philly. With Forsberg healthy? Bring on the Rangers. :o
William2k2DJ Posted April 15, 2006 Report Posted April 15, 2006 GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!1!!11!!11!ONEHUNDREDAND ELEVEN!@@!211!122@
haseoke Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 that second period was actually really fun to watch because for the longest time all we were doing was dodging disaster by the skin of our teeth. but we were successfully dodging disaster. never mind that we could be down 7-1 after that period. j
Larry Playfair Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 and now we are up...by 1. so much for tightening up our D, almost 40 shots against and alot of time left in the third.
haseoke Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 i know! doesnt it almost feel dirty to score so quickly in the third after all that montreal had to go through to get one?? ill take it though :) j
JujuFish Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 This has to be the last active GDT of the season.
hopeleslyobvious Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 This has to be the last active GDT of the season. Just finished watching on Tivo. Miller looked great tonight, and it was nice to see them bounce back after a disappointing second period.
LabattBlue Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 and now we are up...by 1. so much for tightening up our D, almost 40 shots against and alot of time left in the third. Maybe it was wishful thinking on my part. The good news is Miller played well and they scored timely goals in the third period. Once again Habs fans...take your stupid ole ole chant and go drown your sorrows with a case of beer or two.
scottnc Posted April 16, 2006 Report Posted April 16, 2006 You know I have to admit, I was shocked when they said the Habs had 45 shots at the end of the game. I just don't remember Miller making THAT many saves. Plus I lost count on how many shots we blocked. Oh well, I'll take another W on a night we could have been beat.
