Little had been the 1C or 2C since the Jets got here. I think his loss is very understated. Everyone talks about losing Buff and Trouba but what about losing your 2C? The Jets have nobody to step in at 2C and nobody in the system that is anywhere ready to play in the bigs.

Lundell is probably the perfect pick for the Jets.

Top five GM would never have let that happen. 😜

Attached is a Buffalo News article by Lance Lysowski listing the likely prospects that Buffalo will be considering in the first round. He gives a synopsis of each player and the likelihood of being selection. There are no surprises. The listing mirrors the evaluations of the players that are often given here. How the draft unfolds is unpredictable other than it will not fully follow what the draftniks predict. What is evident is regardless how the picks materialize we should be able to come away with a good prospect.

Everyone's nightmares come true in this draft forecast with 5 players everyone wants the Sabres to pick getting drafted after they take the second best D on the board. Sigh...

There's 5 gms with two 2Cs?

My man, you just said "step in" like you forgot ol' Chevy has been attempting to add 2Cs at the deadline for years

It's an issue that's been, indisputably, inadequately addressed in a concrete way. And it's been that way for a good long while.

I don't care if you think Little is a 2C. Your GM does not.

Seth Jarvis and Marco Rossi were my 2 preferred players for pick 8.

Just want to mention that Jarvis before heading back to the WHL, was the leader in goals and points before he left.

The Sabres continue to make questionable draft decisions when easy answers are there for them. This is not a bash on Quinn, just like my complaint on Johnson's pick isn't a bash on Johnson but the Sabres DO NOT maximize their picks.
