Taro T Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 So, does this increase the odds of a Ristolainen trade? 2 Quote
Neo Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 Cap Hit, $3.875 for next three years. MNTC in last two. (I’m practicing CapFriendly) Quote

Randall Flagg Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 We're going to have 5 second pairing defensemen with a Dahlin on top, when it all comes together. You can win with that. 6 Quote
Neo Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 Perhaps the $1.5 million in cap savings, assuming Risto goes, allows us to take a bad contract back along with some talent ... Quote

Randall Flagg Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 (edited) 2021 2nd? Hahahahah. Nice work Jason. Miller isn't quite as good as Risto IMO, but he won't be used 25 minutes per night, and if we move Risto or if we don't, presuming reasonable return for Risto, the team is better (even if slightly worse at RHD in the trade scenario). They're both trash at breaking up stuff at the blue line but Miller is better at clearing the zone and better defensively in general. He's not going to eat minutes like Risto but he'll get a lot of o zone starts and actually *do something* with them. 3 minutes ago, Brawndo said: Wow. If that's all we gave up then that rules. 1 Quote
Trettioåtta Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 A second for a third pairing guy. Is that good value it simply fair? Quote

Neo Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 I love “probably” in response to a question on “odds”! Quote
Randall Flagg Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 That's the pick we got from the Blues. Dudacek rubbing his hands together as he gets to expand his "net in and net out" posts 2 3 Quote

Randall Flagg Posted June 28, 2019 Report Posted June 28, 2019 Dahlin - Bogosian Pilut - Ristolainen McCabe - Miller Scandella, Nelson for injuries Use all three pairs roughly equally. Quote

It's weird to me you have Risto where Miller belongs, Bogo where Montour belongs, and Miller where Nelson belongs. Yes, my new wet dream is we emerge from this offseason having jettisoned both Risto and Bogo. Quote
