shrader Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 Jerry York? So they’re acknowledging the NCAA now. That should open the flood gates. I’m kind of surprised that they went with a still active coach as opposed to the retired ones. You’ll probably get Mason, Parker, and Berenson rapid fire over the next three years. Quote
Skibum Posted June 26, 2019 Report Posted June 26, 2019 The most important statistic: NHL 94 Player Rankings: Alexander Mogilny: 96 Guy Carbonneau: 62 Sergei Zubov: 60 It's a travesty! 2 Quote

They're still pissed that he opened the door for all those Russians taking Canadian jobs. On another note, this is all that Wiki says about his defection from Russia- Mogilny yearned for a life in the NHL and decided to join the Buffalo Sabres, the NHL team that had drafted him 89th overall in the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. He boarded a plane in Stockholm at the conclusion of the 1989 World Championships and defected to North America[2] Quote
