Year one we met at the gate and it went well, year two, we met at Coles after the game and it went well.

Year 3, we didn't make a solid plan, and we decided to go to Labatt brew house after the game and it was a mess, too busy, no seating, so for year 4, we have to set a solid plan and stick with it

That was a nightmare this year.  Can't repeat that.

I'm always in should my son's hockey schedule allow it.  So I won't commit to buying one of the seats up front, but I will buy a ticket somehow when the time comes.

I think the only reasonable options are:

1. Saturday March 21st against Chicago at 2:00pm

2. Saturday April 4th against Philly at 7:00pm (last game of the regular season...)

Unless someone has a better suggestion of course, but that seems to be by far the best option

Will anybody still be watching the Sabres that late in the season??

Why are these the only reasonable options?  As noted upthread, the later in the season it gets, the more likely the game is to be meaningless.

Travel for weather, good weekend times. The Sabres don't do a lot of Saturday home games.

By all means suggest something else.

Thanks.  As an out-of-towner who has bought a ticket and then had to bail each year, I don't think I should influence the schedule.  (I think my question to you probably sounded a bit more agenda-driven than I intended -- sorry.)

dark has the reason down.  It's easiest for out-of-towners to do a Saturday game, and I think we've had better attendance with afternoon than night.

We had talked about getting tix closer to the day of the game, or ordering a bunch of 300s, rather than having TW dedicate part of his ticket draft.  It's going to be more cost-friendly.  Any more thoughts on that?

Going 300's will likely let some people that don't want to spend 100's level prices actually attend.

But it will be tougher to hang out at intermission as the corridors are much narrower.

Either's fine by me.

As I said before, it doesn’t matter much to me but there is no reason it has to be an either or proposition. The six to eight people that want to spend more for my seats can and anyone else can grab tickets if their choosing.
