Year 3, we didn't make a solid plan, and we decided to go to Labatt brew house after the game and it was a mess, too busy, no seating, so for year 4, we have to set a solid plan and stick with it That was a nightmare this year. Can't repeat that. 2 Quote
Sabre1974 Posted May 30, 2019 Report Posted May 30, 2019 Hoping to see us in new York in November if the schedule is kind to me. Can we do a meet up there?? Quote
North Buffalo Posted May 30, 2019 Report Posted May 30, 2019 We could to a NYC one but hoping once the New Isles rink opens we could do the ponnies and then a game at the Bellmont 1 Quote

JujuFish Posted May 31, 2019 Report Posted May 31, 2019 I'd like to go sometime. I'll try to keep an eye on this thread when you all settle on a day and see if I can make it to WNY. Quote

tom webster Posted July 20, 2019 Author Report Posted July 20, 2019 If we intend on doing this again I need game, head count and eventually payment before August 15th. Quote
LTS Posted July 21, 2019 Report Posted July 21, 2019 I'm always in should my son's hockey schedule allow it. So I won't commit to buying one of the seats up front, but I will buy a ticket somehow when the time comes. Quote
WildCard Posted July 22, 2019 Report Posted July 22, 2019 March 21st, 2020, Saturday at 2:00pm, vs Chicago Unless someone has a better suggestion of course, but that seems to be by far the best option Quote
darksabre Posted July 22, 2019 Report Posted July 22, 2019 I think the only reasonable options are: 1. Saturday March 21st against Chicago at 2:00pm 2. Saturday April 4th against Philly at 7:00pm (last game of the regular season...) Quote

As noted upthread, the later in the season it gets, the more likely the game is to be meaningless. Quote

By all means suggest something else. Quote

(I think my question to you probably sounded a bit more agenda-driven than I intended -- sorry.) Quote
Sabre1974 Posted July 22, 2019 Report Posted July 22, 2019 I'm in New York from 12-17th November to see 3 games but none of them Sabres games ? Quote

(I think my question to you probably sounded a bit more agenda-driven than I intended -- sorry.) dark has the reason down. It's easiest for out-of-towners to do a Saturday game, and I think we've had better attendance with afternoon than night. We had talked about getting tix closer to the day of the game, or ordering a bunch of 300s, rather than having TW dedicate part of his ticket draft. It's going to be more cost-friendly. Any more thoughts on that? Quote

Any more thoughts on that? Going 300's will likely let some people that don't want to spend 100's level prices actually attend. But it will be tougher to hang out at intermission as the corridors are much narrower. Either's fine by me. Quote

As I said before, it doesn’t matter much to me but there is no reason it has to be an either or proposition. The six to eight people that want to spend more for my seats can and anyone else can grab tickets if their choosing. 2 Quote
