Stoner Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 Anybody got it? It was a magnet included in the season ticket price increase letter per TBN. Quote
sabills Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 hmm, don't see anything on twitter about it. Quote

Marvin Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 I like it. Nothing outrageous or silly. I personally like the original colour scheme the best, but I am fine with this. 1 Quote
Kruppstahl Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 The bison looks naked without the pair of sabres underneath him. Not a fan of the choice of font for the "50". Don't like the choice to extend the Sabre tips beyond the outer perimeter of the shield, it's too disruptive. It seems to be a deliberate nod to the horns of the buffalo, but reminds me too much of the goat logo. Fairly mediocre graphic design, but it could have been a lot worse. 1 Quote
#freejame Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 I’m a fan. As long as they aren’t horrible (slug, turds) I’m usually happy. I would have liked the blue to be a little brighter, it’s so dark. Quote
LGR4GM Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 ***** garbage that they didn't get the colors correct. Seriously ***** this. How mofo tone def can Pegula Sports get. Trash. Quote
IKnowPhysics Posted May 18, 2019 Report Posted May 18, 2019 I think the outer shape should have been a circle, not a shield, BUT this logo will probably be worn as a chest patch, so the badge-like shape will look good on the jerseys next to the circular main crest. It is also noteworthy that the color palette is the modern set. If this patch was intended to be worn on the third jersey, I wonder if this means the third jersey uses the modern color palette too. Could be it gets worn on all the different sweaters they plan to wear this year & they decided the navy works better with the Goatheads & more recent ones than a royal blue badge would work. 1 Quote

I’m really trying not to get my hopes up for a goatheqd, but I get more excited every time I hear someone mention it. 1 Quote
North Buffalo Posted May 19, 2019 Report Posted May 19, 2019 Flip the Buffalo with the 50 decent otherwise 1 Quote
In The Buff Posted May 19, 2019 Report Posted May 19, 2019 Hey after the slug aka the urine soaked mullet aka the bee that got smeared across your windshield, in all honesty this logo could've been a lot worse. This logo doesn't excite me like i wish it would've, but I'm not embarrassed by it either. It serves its purpose i guess, even if it is a bit uninspiring. 1 Quote
CallawaySabres Posted May 19, 2019 Report Posted May 19, 2019 Predictable that they continue to be deaf to the fans on color scheme Quote
inkman Posted May 19, 2019 Report Posted May 19, 2019 (edited) This is just going to be a patch on the jersey, right? A lot of people are acting as if this is the new jersey. It's still plausible they actually change to the royal blue. I'll even go as far as this patch would only work on the royal blue as the patch color would blend into the Navy jersey making it hard to see rather than stick out. Just a thought... I think the actual patch stitching will be a real gold as opposed to the mustard yellow that shows through that type of printing. Quote

Swordsman Posted May 20, 2019 Report Posted May 20, 2019 (edited) Given the shield background with two crossed sabres that has a bit of a battle-cry-look, maybe it will inspire a change of the goal song to one of the rumored candidates at the time, "Swords of a Thousand Men" If not, I hope someone in their marketing department recognizes it's time to ditch that terrible rap song they've been using since 2015. I don't care if the players may be fond of it - it's the fans that need to be considered and that selection was horrible. Entering an anniversary year and 'new era' with new coach, it's time for a new song.....or no song at all - just blast the horn 9-10 times like they do in some arenas and which worked great at the Aud. Don't really care what the goal celebration song happens to be as long as Jeremy White isn't celebrating it. The current 1 is fine. Blur's track was fine & so was "Lonely Boy." And, the more often we hear whatever the #### it is, the better. Haven't heard any of those nearly enough. 2 Quote
