I think it will be Giordano.  Just a gut feeling, really.

So do I. I think he deserves it this year to boot.

He does deserve it.  My gut feeling is that the NHL will finally see the sense in awarding it to the guy not from a big market team, or something.

Cant wait to see Dahlin win one.  First Sabre ever to win the Norris.

Have we even had any finalists in the voting?

Can't say 100% no, Because Richard Smehlik. But Horton was a finalist before he became a Sabre and Housley after he was traded away.

@New Scotland (NS) will enjoy this: Brad Park finished second six times in the 1970s.

Why do you insist on torturing me with this Brad Friggin' Park nonsense.  At least I can take some comfort in that that clown never won it, right?  Or did he ... ?

Smehlik was nominated for the Norris?

79-80 Schoenfeld was 3rd in Norris voting

In 80-81 Buffalo had 3 in the top 20 in voting, but none in the top 10.

83-84 Housley 5th in balloting and Ramsey 10th

88-89 Housley is 9th

89-90 Housley 5th

06-07 Campbell 9th

07-08 Campbell 8th

I saw Brad Park play for the Buffalo Bisons.  He had a cup of coffee in the AHL, 17 games.

Great player. Never won a Norris or a Hart.  He, took second place in the Norris about 8 times (Orr, Robinson, Potvin all dominated).

Lots of 1st and 2nd team All Star selections.  Hall of Fame.  No Cups.

Smehlik, surely you jest, he never got a Norris vote.  He did  get his name on the Stanley Cup though, courtesy of 12 games played with the Devils in 02-03.

That’s not part of it. It’s a regular season award.

I know. My point is they should take playoffs into consideration. One playoff mvp award isn't enough. Playoffs separates the men from the boys. Tells you who you really want on your team.
