LGR4GM Posted April 23, 2019 Author Report Posted April 23, 2019 Bobby Brink should be around in the late first. He's shifty. I love him as a player. 2 Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 23, 2019 Author Report Posted April 23, 2019 I shouldn't say late 1st. I should say late teens. I don't think we'll have a shot at him without pick 19 but who knows. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted April 24, 2019 Report Posted April 24, 2019 Boldy made a sick pass to set up Brink for the 7th goal. Also Beecher showed really good wheels on an end to end rush on his second goal of the night. I'd be really happy with both of these guys in the 1st. Quote

LGR4GM Posted April 24, 2019 Author Report Posted April 24, 2019 Update. I always love seeing Newhook ranked in the late teens. He's gonna be under-drafted. Quote
GASabresIUFAN Posted April 24, 2019 Report Posted April 24, 2019 It’s hard to believe that Beecher is the US team’s 7th option. Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 25, 2019 Author Report Posted April 25, 2019 (edited) Vlasic just made a great pass. USA scores 1-0. Matthew Beniers with the goal. He's not in this draft class. Edited April 25, 2019 by LGR4GM Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 25, 2019 Author Report Posted April 25, 2019 Hughes scores on a pass from Zegras. 2-0 USA. Zegras is a winger for this tourney it seems. Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 25, 2019 Author Report Posted April 25, 2019 2-0 after the first period. Caufield hasn't really impressed. He is the trigger man but I want him to drive the play more. Turcotte has been just okay this game. A couple of ill advised passes but you see the work ethic. Hughes is Hughes. Zegras has been good with some good passes and buzzing around. Boldy, solid. He doesn't panic, make mistakes, or hurt his team. He's calming. 1 Quote
LGR4GM Posted April 25, 2019 Author Report Posted April 25, 2019 Hughes in alone scores: 3-0 USA Quote
Crusader1969 Posted April 25, 2019 Report Posted April 25, 2019 does the UPL injury make Knight more intriguing a pick with the Sabres 2nd 1st rounder? 2 Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted April 25, 2019 Report Posted April 25, 2019 Hughes show against the Fins as US wins 6-0. Team juggernaut continues. 3 goals plus an assist or Hughes. Zegras 4 assists Cauflield 1g 1a Boldy and Turcotte shutout Quote

French Collection Posted April 27, 2019 Report Posted April 27, 2019 Sweden and Russia for gold. Canada and USA for bronze. Tomorrow. Quote

French Collection Posted April 27, 2019 Report Posted April 27, 2019 Hughes almost won it in OT for the USA, hit the crossbar. Caufield with both goals. Boldly is a solid player. Podkolzin did not stand out for the Russians. Their goalie was good. Broberg had a nice goal for Sweden. Newhook had a decent game for Canada. Penalty trouble cost Canada. Quote
MODO Hockey Posted April 28, 2019 Report Posted April 28, 2019 Woah, some fkn legit goals in this final ! ? Lukas Raymond, jesus christ Quote
MakeSabresGrr8Again Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 Just a note....not sure if anyone knows this, but Dahlin's dad (Martin Dahlin) is an assistant coach for Sweden's U-18 team. Quote
