This is where my kids go. Younger brother is 10th grade wrestler and quite a bit bigger. Zegras has mad skills according to Foxlane middle school front desk guy and fellow beer leaguer and has room to grow. Might be a nice ad for Sabres Nice information, that's fun. These guys who are the top possibilities at #7 really all have mad skills. I wouldn't be upset if the pick was Zegras. I think I like a couple others more, but Zegras has the potential to be a pretty dynamic offensive player. Edited April 11, 2019 by Curtisp5286 1 Quote

I think what you’ve got here is no franchise players, two legitimate top three prospects, and 6-8 more who would be picked somewhere around pick five most years. The thing is figuring out which one will be the Petterson/Marner and which is the Puljujarvi. Who skates better, who skates "well for a big man". Quote

Crusader1969 Posted April 12, 2019 Report Posted April 12, 2019 (edited) Bad news. Team USA at World u18s already missing Turcotte and now Zegras left todays scrimmage with an Arm injury and did not return. Though, the counter argument would be that if guys like Boldy, Cozens and Krebs have strong tournaments, it could vault them above Zegras and Turcotte on a lot of teams draft boards. Increasing the probabilities that they are both available at 7 Edit. Word is that he is fine and left for precautionary reasons as it was just an exhibition. Outside of a career ending injury after we draft one of them, I'd hardly consider it bad news. Quote
Crusader1969 Posted April 14, 2019 Report Posted April 14, 2019 Bad news for someone hoping to watch him at the u-18s? Quote
