It will be one of Cozens, Turcotte, Dach or Zegras and I’m thrilled with 3 of the 4.  Dach is the only suspect ImHO but some writers love his O game.

I'm 100% with you on everything you just wrote there.

I'm happy with any one of those 4.

Same, but Dach would be my last of the 4. I'm not sure how i would rank the other three yet either. Zegras sometimes looks like he could be the next Brayden Point.

I remember Peyton Krebs from the Andy Griffith show

Going way back in the time machine, Maynard G Krebs from Dobie Gillis, played by Bob Denver, more known for his role as Gilligan

I dont know, which one of them comes from Sweeden?

Philip Broberg(LD)  - fast skating, puck moving d-man who needs to learn to play defence better.

We need to trade down from 7 to the teens to get him.

We would have an all Swedish left D.:  Dahlin, Pilut, Broberg.

We already have that in Dahlin

Isn’t Dach just Tage 2.0? Maybe better but the description of him every time I read one keeps bringing me back to Tage. Sorry. ?

That’s funny because as I watched highlights last night, that’s exactly who I thought of.

The difference was that Dach actually finished those plays.

Can you two sort out which topic you want to discuss this pick in?

With the draft the next big event, maybe it is best to have individual player topics?

Like for each possible pick? I mean there would be 5 unique threads at least.

I don’t think that’s an issue. It’s a major part of the year.

I was dropping in to say, "please, no."

Too late, I see.

If we are trading down for a defender I am taking Victor Soderstrom.

Soderstrom is a hard working and smart rhd.

You should take over the portion of the draft coverage where they list a player's comparable.  I get so sick of every single draftee being compared to a hall of famer.  They set the bar impossibly high and then it leads to the constant over evaluation of prospects that dominates most fan board's thoughts of their farm system.  Just once, I want to see a player's comparable listed as Marek Zagrapan.

Lol, they are just try to give a comparable based on potential.

I think you’ll find Tage finished those play at lower levels as well.

Hockey News rates Dach #4 prospect in draft.

FYI: That was Feb1st.

His range on the 14 rankings I’ve seen is as high as 3 (McKeens) to  a low of 15 (Button).

Cozens’ range is 3-8, Turcotte 4-9, Pod 3-14, Zegras 4-14, and Boldy 5-12.

The more I think about this coming draft and the Sabres needs, I think Boldy might be the best pick for us even if he isn’t what most people think is the BPA if Cozens and Turcotte aren’t available.

Even at the college level, Tage never really carried the puck or made nice setup passes to teammates, did he?  He scored most of his goals off one timers I thought.
