Gatorman0519 Posted April 7, 2019 Report Posted April 7, 2019 Ugh only the 3rd game I missed all season and figures we kicked a... Went down to Miami for a day cruise. Another painful season comes to an end... hoping the draft odds go our way again. Quote
PerreaultForever Posted April 7, 2019 Report Posted April 7, 2019 Well Detroit didn't really show up for their final home game and we showed up for ours soooooooooo......we're better than them? I dunno, it was fun to see a few goals scored for a change but I can't say I was really paying attention. Huge off season coming. If JBot doesn't get it right................................................ 1 Quote

If JBot doesn't get it right................................................ You can say that again. They literally ceased playing defense and large portions of the game had the feel of a pre-season exhibition or even All Star game. Nice to see Skinner get his 40 goals. Now the fun starts. When does Housley get axed? Or does he survive? How does the draft lottery play out? What will Botterill's first moves be? He needs to make a million of them between now and training camp. 1 Quote

You know, I think these last two games saved him for next year. There was effort and the mood seems better so it says to me (and JBot) that the coach has not lost the team and they want him back. I think that is enough to give him the first half of next year at least. Quote

Should be someone pretty easy to get in the low 10s. We need to break this "No playoffs? Time to tank!" mentality if this team is to ever truly shake the losing culture. Go out with your heads held high. Enough of this race to get #1 every year.We got Dahlin, be happy. Not at all advocating losing on purpose, and wasn’t hoping for a loss tonight, but don’t agree with the bolded. Every team needs another #1 center or top line winger. More talent is better than less. I’m still going to be hoping for a lottery win. Quote

It looked like the Sabres were playing an AHL team. Anyway, for the last time this year, 1 1 Quote

I noticed after Skinner's 40th, Sam was the one that recovered the puck from the goal for him. Edited April 7, 2019 by Doohickie Quote

He does that quite a bit, he also has retrieved the pucks from Mittelstadt, Nylander and Oloffsson’s First Goals 1 Quote
