Pimlach Posted March 28, 2019 Report Posted March 28, 2019 Just like the Ottawa game. No one clearing the front. Despite the “not bad” start we are losing at home. Quote
Stoner Posted March 28, 2019 Report Posted March 28, 2019 I liked our start, but then penalties took the sails out of our wind and our checking detail was lacking. 3 Quote
Pimlach Posted March 28, 2019 Report Posted March 28, 2019 The good news with that penalty is Pilut won’t be on the PK. Quote
dudacek Posted March 28, 2019 Report Posted March 28, 2019 When was the last time we had a Bertuzzi - 2nd-rounder who apprenticed three years in the minors and emerged as a 35-point guy at 24? Why didn’t this happen withBailey or Baptiste or Cornel or so many other Sabres? 1 Quote
PromoTheRobot Posted March 28, 2019 Report Posted March 28, 2019 It's so pathetic seeing the Sabres gain control in their end and then puke the puck right back to the Wings. Quote

Thorner Posted March 28, 2019 Report Posted March 28, 2019 So is it follow-through or not? I thought the new rule was "you need to be responsible for your stick regardless".. 2 minutes ago, dudacek said: When was the last time we had a Bertuzzi - 2nd-rounder who apprenticed three years in the minors and emerged as a 35-point guy at 24? Bailey and Baptiste were part of a team that did not develop young players properly, instead they tossed them out there unready. Cornel just does not have NHL talent. Bots looks like he has a clue. Keeping Olofsson and Nylander down was probably good for them. Did not have that luxury with Mitts. Edited March 28, 2019 by Pimlach Quote

I thought the new rule was "you need to be responsible for your stick regardless".. Rule 60.1: Players must be in control and responsible for their stick. However, a player is permitted accidental contact on an opponent if the act is committed as a normal windup or follow through of a shooting motion, Quote

If we weren't tanking they could have brought him up earlier. Just now, PASabreFan said: Rule 60.1: Players must be in control and responsible for their stick. But does handling the puck in your own zone constitute "shooting"? I guess so. Quote

PromoTheRobot Posted March 28, 2019 Report Posted March 28, 2019 I'm dead serious: could these Sabres beat a good AHL team? Quote
