Biggest game of the season for draft. We probably beat sens for the last home game and lose against ny, col, and preds.

A win at this point does nothing, absolutely nothing and a bad loss at home will be the nail in the coffin for ph.

Constant defeats are too much though. Totally get what your saying but cant take much more.

Brawndo with the early morning entry today. Sabre info and I'm trying to stay optimistic with this. GO SABRES

This is the 140th game all-time between Buffalo and Detroit; Buffalo has a 62-59-18 series record. The Sabres are 38-20-10 at home against the Red Wings all-time.

THIS DATE IN SABRES HISTORY

The Sabres are 11-10-4 all-time on March 28.

March 28, 1982: Fred T. Hunt and Tim Horton are both posthumously inducted into the Buffalo Sabres Hall of Fame. The pair became the fourth and fifth members, joining Roger Crozier, Frank Christie and Punch Imlach.

March 28, 1999: Alexei Zhitnik scores the 8,000th goal in franchise history in a 4-3 overtime win at home against Pittsburgh.

Reasons to be Optimistic on Sabres D

Through his first 14 games with the Sabres, Brandon Montour has recorded seven points (2+5), tying Jack Eichel (5+2) and Conor Sheary(4+3) for most points during that stretch. Six of his seven points as a Sabre (2+4) have come at even strength.

According to NaturalStatTrick.com, Montour’s CF%, FF% and SCF% during 5-on-5 play through 14 games with the Sabres top his full-season rates in each of those categories from both of his first two NHL seasons, as well as his rates through 62 games with Anaheim this season.

In these 14 games, Montour has also seen a drastic uptick in scoring rates in goals (.47), assists (.71) and points (1.18) per 60 minutes played at 5-on-5 compared to his rates from the last two seasons.

Entering play Wednesday, Rasmus Dahlin led rookie defensemen and ranked third among all NHL rookies in points (41). His 33 assists ranked second among all rookies.

With seven multi-point games so far this season, Dahlin has recorded more multi-point games as an 18-year-old than all but two defensemen in NHL history: Housley (13) and Orr (8).

Dahlin’s three game-winning goals this season are the most ever recorded by a Sabres rookie defenseman. His total also ties for ninth-most by any Sabres rookie and eighth-most in a season by any defenseman in franchise history.

And the biggest news of the day is Dan Bylsma returns to Buffalo as a Red Wings assistant coach

LETS GO BUFFALO

Anyone wanna go to this game tonight?

I have two seats. Dead Center ice in section 320. I can’t go so I’ll sell you the seats for $50 total.

Let me know ....

8 bucks on StubHub and they're not the cheapest 300 level seats.

Kinda hoping for a loss tonight because I like watching things burn.

and. a loss tonight means Detroit will be 3 points back of us and NJ will 4. NJ & DET play each other on Friday which means Det will be 1 and NJ will be 4 or Det will be 3 and NJ will be 2...even juicier results if there's a tie.

Also, just how bad are the rangers? They've been keeping pace with the Sabres for the past 2 weeks and are the only team to drop below the Sabres in the standings since i've been paying attention to bottoming out. woof

Yay! I look forward to seeing Olofsson. And Tage maybe showed some improvements this season, but both he and we would have been better served with a veteran winger in this lineup and himself in the AHL.

For the rest of it...  we're in pain. Pain leads to suffering. Suffering leads to hate. Hate... leads to a higher draft pick.

I wonder if Skinner is on board with his recent demotion.

At this point we're in trash time, season-wise.  It's like being down 6-0 with 5 minutes to go.  It just doesn't matter.

I think it may matter to him regarding his interest in re-signing here.

How about YOU give ME $50 plus pay for my Uber, my dinner, my beer, my escort after the game, plus an additional $0.50 for the time wasted reading your post and typing this response...because that's the price of my time I'd be willing to waste on these ***** losers.
