So much hope and so much disappointment I can't remember anything like it, right down to the beloved voice going silent. I don't remember 73-74, but it's the only season that can surpass this one. Huge letdown after their first playoff appearance, serious injuries and Tim Horton's accident. 1 Quote

Yes, that's what we get from this team: Peanuts. Quote

The rest are not a factor. Edited March 27, 2019 by Pimlach 1 Quote
New Guy Posted March 27, 2019 Report Posted March 27, 2019 One positive last period was Tage's presence in the O-zone; he's regularly skating, defending, passing well, and almost converted a great goal with the spin Quote

Not going to produce much of anything on that line though. Quote

They didn’t quit in 73-74, just had lots of bad luck. These guys have called it a season weeks ago. Edited March 27, 2019 by Pimlach 1 Quote

Good point. I'm sure this'll be pointed out as the nostalgia of blockheads or something, but those guys literally couldn't afford to quit. 1 Quote
Thorner Posted March 27, 2019 Report Posted March 27, 2019 It should honestly really help negotiations that they'll be trying to sign "30 goal scorer" Jeff Skinner and not "40 goal scorer" Jeff Skinner Quote
Tondas Posted March 27, 2019 Report Posted March 27, 2019 All Sabres shots have no one in front. They need to charge the net like when they bring out the crab legs at the Golden Corral Buffet. 3 Quote
Stoner Posted March 27, 2019 Report Posted March 27, 2019 I don't know if this is a valid hockey point or not. You keep hearing about crash the net crash the net crash the netm but I often see players in too far to cash rebounds. It happened in the second with Alexander and Casey (M.). Maybe pull it back a hair? Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted March 27, 2019 Report Posted March 27, 2019 Basically getting shut out by two of the worst teams in the league on back to back night. SAMs goal last night was an accident 1 Quote
