Crusader1969 Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 I’ll hate losing this game for about about 2 mins but then remember it’s for the best Quote
Pimlach Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 Lots of standing around leads to a Leaves goal. Dammit 1 Quote
Brawndo Posted March 21, 2019 Author Report Posted March 21, 2019 The whole team thought Nylander had scored and stopped playing Quote
Gatorman0519 Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 I absolutely hate the leafs... at least win one Quote
Pimlach Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 Rayzor called that a decent period. Gave up an early goal and a late goal, did nothing in between. 1 Quote

Crusader1969 Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 Most embarrassing game of the season? Leafs played last night in another time zone and are skating all over them. 1 Quote

Right but the only reason to put Eichel Skinner and Reinhart all on one line is if that line is going to carry us. I don't have the stats but I'd be very surprised if they weren't getting drastically outplayed tonight based on what we've seen. Split them up. Edited March 21, 2019 by Thorny Quote
Cityo'Rasmii Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 well. . .sabres 2nd period. . . Quote
Tondas Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 Waaaay back in the day, I used to like the Leafs. Sittler, Salming, Lanny MacDonald, Carlyle. Now I can't stand them. If it weren't for the Bruins (screw you Brad Park, and the Flyers), I would hate them the most. Quote

Pimlach Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 I’m tired of the Power play being so bad. How many goals have we given up immediately after a power play ends? Too many. I really want a win but I sit here wondering how we can score 2 and give up none in the third against a hungry team. Boggles my mind at how bad we are. 2 Quote

I think the Colorado game where Jack had that illegal hit. 43-18 shots against, to a bad team, and we had 7 shots after the second period. 1 Quote

Let's see how the third plays out. Quote
thewookie1 Posted March 21, 2019 Report Posted March 21, 2019 Worst part about that period was both Toronto goals were purely luck. It seems as if regardless of if we play hard as possible or pack it in like wimps; the bounces will always favor our opponents and I can honestly understand if some of the Sabres feel that way at this point. Effectively why bother playing hard if the other team will score off a triple deflection. Quote

They aren't so talent poor that they should be getting out shot 38-15 after two. It's not just talent. Edited March 21, 2019 by Thorny 1 Quote
