Thorner Posted March 14, 2019 Report Posted March 14, 2019 Housley is either coaching for his job specifically, or he was told to limit the embarrassment factor at all costs. They look to be playing to lose by as little as possible, not playing to score goals. Or the strategy is literally to buy time until Eichel is back. Quote
Stoner Posted March 14, 2019 Report Posted March 14, 2019 Is that Harrington in the AARP commercial? Pretty uncanny. Quote

Both teams are playing uninspired hockey even though one of them is fighting for a playoff spot. I find this post offensive (and wishing the Sabres are offensive). Please refrain from using the word "fighting" as we are trying to take it out of the game. Thank you. Quote
Thorner Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 He's not contributing on the offensive side of things but that was a great defensive stick by Reinhart on Crosby. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 Greetings, all! Now we face our old nemesis: sand. the second period. 1 Quote

Thorner Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 Who breaks the goal drought? I'll go with Scandella. Quote

DarthEbriate Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 I admit, I've missed a bit with some work. Wow, we're rudderless without our Eichel. Quote

Thorner Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 Crosby is the best player in the NHL. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 Got Hutton moving back and forth, and the defense standing and... give and go. Kessel Run. That felt inevitable. Quote

Stoner Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 December 2017 Sabres suffered third straight shutout — against the Pens. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 Something something interference, Ray. Skinner: "Credits will do fine." DeSmith: "No. They won't." (Can't buy a goal.) Quote
R_Dudley Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 Only get the Pens feed and announcers here in PGH even with my center ice. They said you have to have players in front of the net if you want to score, skilled players and passing won't work regularly w/o it. Can't say they are wrong... Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 15, 2019 Report Posted March 15, 2019 Good play by Dahlin there. I did like him and Montour on the PP points before. Good puck movement and skating to support each other. Quote
