Thorner Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 This team being unable to score of late is making a lot of these individual career years less career-y. Quote

bunomatic Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 I had a faint hope that Dahlin might vie for rookie of the year. Real friggin faint but a hope none the less. Vancouvers youngun has hit a wall so there was a chance if Dahlin started producing. This team is historically bad so that goes out the window. Quote

That's right -- in the 44 games since the streak, they have 7 fewer points than they did in the same games last year. With a MUCH healthier roster. Don't think that gets enough play. 2 Quote
Mustache of God Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 I am loving Dahlin's game. He's the lone bright spot of tonight. Nylander showed nothing but with the current line-up he's kind of in the Josh Allen scenario of "how can we tell if this guy is good since everyone else around him sucks" only not as dramatic and he's not that good. ... Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 You can stick a fork in this season. That's a broken hockey team we saw right there. Quote

JJFIVEOH Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 This team is an absolute joke. How Housley is even being considered to have a job next year is beyond me. 2 1 Quote

bunomatic Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 Right now Benning is out GMing Botterail . Without the benefit of a first overall he has quietly built a team that should compete very nicely for years to come. They prolly have more young stars than us without tanking. 1 Quote
dudacek Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 Dahlin was worth the price of admission tonight. Nylander was very Pominvillesque in my view, positionally sound, didn’t do much to impact the game, positively or negatively. 1 Quote
CallawaySabres Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 Lose out, you can do it team! Quote
Doohicksie Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 That game was just anemic. You pretty much knew the Sabres weren't going to score. 1 Quote

Thorner Posted March 13, 2019 Report Posted March 13, 2019 On a more positive note, the Sabres have now played 69 games. Quote
