Claude Balls Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Why does Housley always look like he's gotta take a *****? 1 Quote

Zadorov is the guilty party. If the Sabres had any guts they would make the next two periods hell for him. Run him. Take the penalties. You can't have anyone take liberties with 9. Quote

Coming in later and grabbing him from the side to drag him down into a pile is not a response. Zadarov came up laughing. Zadarov got 2 minutes for a high late hit on out best player and our PP fail. Yahoo. Nelson’s response was weak, Scandella took him down and Reinhart started throwing punches with the linesmen in the middle: 1 Quote

Zadorov hits Eichel the Sabres Best Player, Bogosian attempts to hit Rantanen the Avs best player. An eye for an eye, isn’t this what you would have wanted to happen to Bobby Clarke after Dave Schultz hit Gilbert? 1 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Looks like the Avs are starting to go with the physical play as the Sabres have had difficulty countering it this year. IMO they need to try and cycle the puck down low. Avs will either take a penalty or take themselves out of the play to make the hit. Quote

Nelson could've done more, but Scandella tackled and Reinhart gave in to his anger. The result was a powerplay for us. Now --- we should still give Zadorov a few elbows and late checks just to harass him, but in the moment it was fine. It's not like we all backed down ala 10 years ago. Quote

Claude Balls Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 I think Sheary needs a longer stick. He just whiffed on a wrister. How is that even possible? Quote

SABRES 0311 Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Four on two, someone should hang high instead all four were inline. Quote
DarthEbriate Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Heck of an effort and goal. That was Skinner-esque from earlier in the year. Quote

Scottysabres Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Risto and Dahlin...…………….AGAIN! Why do they continue to put 2 offensive D men together that have near 0 defensive skills. This episode has replayed itself like Groundhog Day time and time again. 1 Quote
SABRES 0311 Posted March 9, 2019 Report Posted March 9, 2019 Dahlin, take the body not the puck. Quote
