It sounds like we are on the road. The place is filled with Pittsburgh fans, and they are in the good seats. Just because you sell guys like Sobotka, Hunwick, Thompson, Okposo and Mittelstadt as NHL players doesn't mean people have to buy it. Quote
Tondas Posted March 2, 2019 Report Posted March 2, 2019 Some good coaches available at the end of the year: Boucher, Quenneville, Ruff to name a few. Just sayin'. Quote

apuszczalowski Posted March 2, 2019 Report Posted March 2, 2019 Just wondering, is part of Housleys system to leave one of the greatest players in the game wide open by himself on one side of the ice? Quote
SwampD Posted March 2, 2019 Report Posted March 2, 2019 Too much time on the PK. The double minor if someone bleeds might be the stupidest rule in all of sports. With that said, it was a really bad high stick. 1 Quote

Instead of heading to the third with the lead....the team is down by one. He has played a strong game. Unfortunate that the stick slides up. Could have been accidental high stick that resulted in a double minor. The blood rule is antiquated BS Edited March 2, 2019 by Pimlach 1 Quote
SwampD Posted March 2, 2019 Report Posted March 2, 2019 Was that almost a full ten minutes on the PK? That’s enough for a full game, let alone a period. We’re lucky to be only down one. This is a winnable game. 1 1 Quote

Complete accidental high stick that resulted in a double minor. I loathe the high stick. Victimized by is prior to the days of helmets but it was rare. Today many players carry the stick too high and it leads to penalties. Wilson hit him mid arm. Not needed. Quote

Sabel79 Posted March 2, 2019 Report Posted March 2, 2019 Skinner is overdue. Let's get a couple this period. 2 Quote

It also helps when all four Sabres are on the opposite side of the ice, leaving one of the leagues elite wide open with a yawning net staring at him. Edited March 2, 2019 by Claude Balls 1 Quote
