Not being over dramatic but if they lose tonight, i truly feel playoffs are shot once and for all. Can they save the season? Dropping 8 points out of 8th would be the nail in the coffin. I hope they can survive into the weekend....

They need to shake off the Toronto game and win against a tough team in a tough place to play.

This game will tell us a lot about this team.

With all due respect to the Flyers, they aren't nearly as good as the Leafs.  If (and I know that's a big IF) the Sabres come out and play like they did last night, they could destroy the Flyers, which would be good since Philly is one point behind us in the standings.

How many games have they played down to their opponents level?  The Flyers may not be good but they are tough, they are at home, and they wont be easy to beat.

...thus the big IF.

I think they will win tonight, and handily.  They are coming off a tough loss and will be angry.  They'll be slightly buoyed by the addition of Montour, and I predict they will, in fact, come out hard and fast like they played last night.  Against Toronto that merely kept them in the game.  Against Philadelphia, it will crush them.

Sabres win 6-2.

You lose and this is all over. These team has reached the edge, you either start stringing wins together and start tonight or you buy new clubs. Must. Win.

Yup, this really is the true MUST WIN game of the season. I think they beat Toronto on Saturday (mostly because I will be there)and Pitt at home on Friday will be a doozy. Now or never boys, now or never....

How much more information do you really need at this point?! We've seen more than enough. These guys are immature, lazy, stupid, and soft.

Which is exactly why the have to find the right captain or coach to guide these kids and not let them coast...

Yeah...our playoff chances evaporated when we dropped 3 in a row to the Panther, Rangers and Devils.

At this point all I care about is Dahlin tightening up defensively while racking up points (6 more to be 2nd in scoring as an 18 year old defense man).

Anyways, go Sabres.

Is that why you're a fan on here? Okay they lost. The world hasn't come to an end. So much overreacting going on.

I think they are badly coached. Confused by an inexperienced head coach who keeps pushing a system they either don't get or can't play.

Where did that projected lineup come from? If true, it will be interesting to see the new Montour with Dahlin. Hoping they can establish quick chemistry and stabilize the defensive pairings.

I got it off of a flyers page. Will update it if need be, but I wanted to put something in there and it’s what I found. Hoping 26-62 are together so that’s why I picked that over some others. Nothing from Buffalo sites when I looked this morning v

I would guess Hunwick will be out and Montour will lineup next to scandy on the 3rd pair tonight. Help ease him into our system.

Agreed.  If they're trailing in the third push him into the top four.
