Derrico Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Ummmm yes please. What would the cost be though? Wonder if it went down if it’s more or less likely Risto were to move. or, of course, nothing may happen. Quote

Derrico Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 I thought he was getting more minutes with the ducks? Looks like just an ok year so maybe ask won’t be crazy high? Quote

Derrico Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Guhle experiment over eh? That’s disappointing. Quote
Brawndo Posted February 24, 2019 Author Report Posted February 24, 2019 It’s STL or SJS Pick per Friedman Quote
TrueBlueGED Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Awesome. Now trade Risto for a forward! Quote

Scottysabres Posted February 25, 2019 Report Posted February 25, 2019 Nice, I like Montour. Guess Fowler is staying then? Quote
Stoner Posted February 25, 2019 Report Posted February 25, 2019 Whose Brandon Mountour? Asking for a friend, because we gave up two nice pieces. 2 Quote

I don't think Montour is a star or anything, but he's a 2nd pair guy who can skate and pass and we gave up two assets that might never make the NHL. 4 Quote
Derrico Posted February 25, 2019 Report Posted February 25, 2019 He’s 24 so the age is perfect for this team. Love that he’s a righty as we are weak on that side. Good, rfa contract is nice too. His numbers at every level below nhl were always terrific. Points haven’t translate to the nhl yet but decent numbers nonetheless. 1 Quote
Carmel Corn Posted February 25, 2019 Report Posted February 25, 2019 Having a another RH D-man is good....maybe this will allow Dahlin to play the left side. I'd still like to keep Risto. 1 Quote
LTS Posted February 25, 2019 Report Posted February 25, 2019 There goes one of the first rounders. Clearly someone else has to move. There's a logjam of NHL D on the team now. My guess is Beaulieu is moved. I'll take Montour I suppose. He's immediately going to be on the top on the team in PIM. 1 Quote

Samson's Flow Posted February 25, 2019 Report Posted February 25, 2019 This is exactly the kind of long term hockey trade that I suspected JBott was thinking about when he talked about the deadline. We weren't trading for rentals, nor were we going to sell. Montour was a name we talked about a lot back in the expansion draft when Anaheim had all those defense men. What's the term on Montour contact? 1 2 Quote
