Clean slate

I think it's time to wipe the slate clean (again).  Let's fire PH and JB, then trade Risto, Skinner, Samson and whomever anyone else wants except Dahlin and Eichel.  Lets get whomever to coach and whomever to GM.  Lets build around Dahlin and Eichel and wait another 4-5 years to be competitive.

Why stop there? Trade Eichel and Dahlin. Then trade back for them, and then trade them again just to prove a point.

Also, move the team to Houston, give them some generic name like the Wildcats or the Fighting Warriors. Lastly, tear down the KeyBank center, burn the rubble, burn the ashes of said rubble, and turn the land into condos.

Will that suffice?

I think you're losing it because IU lost to Purdue last night.  Sorry, you didn't  need that on top of the Sabres sparkling performance.

I'm being sarcastic.  I do not want to burn the house down again.  I don't want to trade our best players.  I don't want to fire PH or JB, although I acknowledge I thought I'd see a better response to PH then I've seen recently.  I don't even want to dump the second tier players.  

I actually believe this team is actually close to taking a big step forward.  I think we need another good center.  I think we need better players then Scandella and Bogo on D, but I can live with those guys for another year if they are down to the 3rd pairing duty only.

I was trying to show how crazy it is to try to start again.  I don't know if this 3rd iteration of management will succeed in saving the Titanic, but the improvement in Roch over the last 2 years for the first time in a decade gives me hope.

I was out to dinner with my Dad and missed the game.  I was glad I missed it.  However it wasn't the reason I started this thread.  Although I can see why people might think I did.

I thought hey, he's must be sarcastic, but then again around here people aren't just leaping off the bandwagon they want to time travel and undo old trades and fire everybody and I dunno, probably build a wall. No, not exactly.

Not sure when / if.  These and Josie are the most recent of long-term contributors that I recall.

Losing has contributed to the negativity around here and that is part of the reason for some departures, but not that main reason for others.

I hope if they are listening ... we all miss you very much.
