Any word on his return or how he has been progressing? I really think that it is imperative that we get him back at 100% for the playoffs. I believe that he is the most crucial piece if we are to advance far into the playoffs. He is definitely our best 2-way player and this team responds when he is in the lineup!

Paul Hamilton just reported on the postgame show tonight that

"Hecht's knee is more stable. He's hoping to get cleared tonight for non-contact practice."

 

Looks (and sounds) like Hecht will be held out until Game 1 of the playoffs.

IIRC, GR said he resumed skating today. They made it sound like they expect him ready to play before the playoffs but will hold him out until then.
