Tondas Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 We seem to let in goals at the most inopportune times. Just now, SwampD said: Periods are twenty minutes. That's NOT what she said. 1 Quote
SwampD Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 And with 10 seconds left in a period, why would anyone skate past the front of the net?! Quote

Gatorman0519 Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Risto looked fantastic there... NOT! Quote
Stoner Posted February 13, 2019 Author Report Posted February 13, 2019 I love how when the other team scores we have to argue about what one player was responsible. Quote
Eleven Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Just got home in time for Ray to mis-analyze the Isles goal. When can we move on from him? Quote

Only if it's such an egregious error that it can be boiled down to one player's mistake. Plenty of goals have been a team effort. Edited February 13, 2019 by Thorny Quote

This is where +/- is a deserved stat. Risto deserves his minus there. I thought this was the season Ristolainen finally began to clear up his own zone work --- finally Dahlin could help keep him fresh with fewer PP minutes, McCabe, Bogo and Scandella, I thought Pilut would come up the 2nd half of the season, and Risto could play fewer minutes and get to a positive side 5 on 5. It was not to be, statistically. Quote

Jack once again shows no desperation in his game... could’ve played the body hard, instead of softly laying his stick in their, while peeling off. Quote

steveoath Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Bah. My NHL.tv app keeps buffering, after forcing an update halfway through the period. Quote
Eleven Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 I get better analysis from this site than from Rob Ray. Quote

Going back and rewatching the goal, doesn't look like Jack has enough time to get on the body as the Islander player is sending the puck out shortly after Jack realizes Risto has turned the puck over. 2 Quote
steveoath Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 In other news hunwick wasn't as bad as advertised. Thought he looked quite assured. Quote

Stoner Posted February 13, 2019 Author Report Posted February 13, 2019 Eichel to Skinner needed to go in. Quote

Brawndo Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 The Sabres Color Analyst is Rob Ray, while the Islanders have Jen Botterill.   Large Advantage to the Isles Organization Quote
Tondas Posted February 13, 2019 Report Posted February 13, 2019 Dahlin seems shell shocked from last game. Not forcing the play and seems to WANT to get off the ice asap. Quote
