Trading with KC, Packers, Philly or the Cowboys will not yield a top 10 pick, which could very well happen with Pittsburgh. From the Steeler perspective not sure what they think they can achieve this year. How many first rounders from Miami next year? Three, plus the first overall? Epic Tank.
Randall Flagg Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 The Bills are behind just two teams in number of 70+ yard TD drives. And sure, they faced some bad defenses - so did the teams above them, which faced NYG, ARI, MIA, and WSH

Their defense is way worse than any 1 CB can fix (let alone a middling guy like Fitzpatrick), and they kinda sorta don't have a QB. Although I agree with the Pittsburgh defense part, Fitzpatrick was top 10 in the NFL in lowest completion percentage against last year (minimum 400 coverage snaps) as a rookie. I think he's well above middling. I was hoping the Bills might take a look at him, but not at the price Pittsburgh ended up paying.

We'd have two very solid DBs, and a guy that can play safety if we get hurt. 1

Tough for the Bills to beat that with their projected last pick in the first round. ? Edit: Has anyone tanked as hard as Miami is right now? They now have 5 first round picks and 4 second round picks over the next 2 drafts, with lots of time for more moves to add to that. Edited September 17, 2019 by Thwomp!

I was really starting to think that this was the year where Pittsburgh would land their next franchise QB just like the got the last one. They fall apart for one year, get an early pick and then Ben falls into their lap. So much for that thought.

Eleven Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 Why is the entire rest of the league pitching in to help Miami?

Literally the only thing you trade that for is a Drew Brees type QB (meaning Drew Brees when he was traded). A saftey? I might give up a third for it.

Not that I care if Pittsburgh makes stupid moves, but this pick is going to be really high, unless playing the Browns and Bengals four times helps artificially inflate their record.

WildCard Posted September 17, 2019 Author Report Posted September 17, 2019 The Jets are screwed. Even without their roster issues, Gase is a joke of a HC and just brings so much discord to an organization, toss him in with Gregg Williams and you're just asking for a absolute disfunction
shrader Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 All these QB injuries so far, including Drew Brees which in what was basically the equivalent of a high five gone wrong. If there was ever a time for satan to finally call in his debt on Tom Brady, this is it. 2
That Aud Smell Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 Well, NFL, your on-field product sucks, so maybe at least your personnel soap operas will be compelling.

CallawaySabres Posted September 17, 2019 Report Posted September 17, 2019 I would be shocked if the Bills did not have meaningful games all through December. And if the Sabres season turns out the way I think, that means only about 3 months of depressing Buffalo sports this season.

Randall Flagg Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 This was the play I was trying to find. I think it might be the best quarterback play I've ever seen a Bills quarterback make. Happy to receive reminders if I'm missing some. 1
nfreeman Posted September 18, 2019 Report Posted September 18, 2019 ^^^That was some no-BS Brett Favre gold right there. 1
