It goes to show just how much of a jump the NHL is.  It's why I have no hope for Nylander at this point.

He had a great game this afternoon. Works his ass off. He’ll end up back in the NHL at some point.

I think it’s a little more complicated than that. It’s different, I’ll give you that. A young developing guy like Nylander gets tossed in with some of these bitter, no-good ex-NHLers, or worse, the guys that never really had the chance to play there. It’s really brutal to watch sometimes. It’s good development though.

I also think the Charlotte Checkers would thump a good many  NHL clubs if they were to play tomorrow.

Maybe the NHL should do a little Euro style relegation.  (Yeah, I realize this would probably mean the Sabres would be an AHL team by now.)
