I might watch the first 2 periods or so. We'll see. I hate having to avoid the results for half a day so I can watch the rest after work tomorrow. 9:30PM in my real world. Not as late as farther west in the land of duda, bun and Rick, but pretty near this old guy's bed time. Quote
Samson's Flow Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 We come out of the cave of a multi-week hockey break to the light of back to back games. Thank you for the gifts you have provided us Hockey Gods. Let's see more of that fun 5-4 style hockey, with a continuation of the effective 2nd line please :) 2 Quote

So a 7pm start is no problem. 7:30 is a bit less sleep than I'd like..but doable. 8 tends to be about my limit. With a 9pm start, I'm basically in "record the game, avoid the results and watch the next day" territory. 8:30 isn't much better, but I can probably do the first 2 periods. Quote

French Collection Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 Missed most of last night's game due to my son's hockey. Watching tonight. Keep that secondary scoring going. Dahlin with two more points to keep him in the Calder conversation (in Buffalo anyway) would be great. Let's go Buffalo! Quote
That Aud Smell Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 I can always generate some visceral hate for the Stars. Let’s go, Buffalo! 2 Quote

WildCard Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 We really should win this one too. Dallas can't score, at all. They have one line (even more so than we only have one line), and even that line hasn't been great this year. They do, however, not let in goals. Still, they're coming off the break, should be rusty and sloppy, and we should win this game. It would be huge for us Also, if nobody in here has mentioned Dahlin and Heiskanen yet, shame on you all Quote
Huckleberry Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 We have our own Heiskanen next year in Laaksonen ? Quote
LGR4GM Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 Yes, the Heiskanen v Dahlin battle wil be fun. There were a ton of people earlier on social media putting Heiskanen above Dahlin but I think Dahlin is winning that battle now. Quote

mike555555555555555 Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 Cocaine, gluesniffin` and hockey, nice tread, you buffalonians are growing on me "biggly". Well done yesterday, 2 points against a pretty difficult team, a good start tonight and some solid goaltending could be enough for two more. I think Dahlin will pick up the pace pointwise the second half of the season. Quote

Now tonight, i think it would be totally uncharacteristic of this team if they could pull off a win. I would take the ot loser point right now if offered. Loving an upcoming 7 game home stand and a win tonight would really put them right back in the race. My passion brings out the worst of my negativity, which in turns serves as a self defense mechanism. I want playoffs so GD badly.... I love this post. Normally you've across just so negative, but this really demonstrates why and shows the vulnerability of the Sabres fan in a perfect way. Honestly, truly, love it. 3 hours ago, CallawaySabres said: As long as there's an old fashioned to go along with it! jsb Posted January 30, 2019 Report Posted January 30, 2019 Some terrible news about playing in Dallas the past 4 years. Outscored 16-7 there No one on the current roster has scored for us, Kane 2, Moulson 2, Gionta 2 and ROR 1 2 of the 4 were basically blowouts, zero points Met Paul at one of the games, our only highlight of the game It's time to change the outcome boys.... LETS GO BUFFALO Quote
