Curt Posted February 7, 2020 Report Posted February 7, 2020 (edited) Sanders won the popular vote. Buttigieg won more delegates. I was super close, essentially a tie. It was also a total mess. On to New Hampshire. Edited February 7, 2020 by Curt
Hank Posted February 7, 2020 Report Posted February 7, 2020 Sanders has no chance of beating Trump. I hope the Dems are smarter than that.

Bernie does not have the same presence Trump does. I would say old Biden did but not the Biden we see campaigning. Body language and tone. How you walk into a room and without saying anything, let everyone know who is running the show. Bernie and Warren do not have it. Pete sort of has it. Biden I think is suffering from a neurological issue because he stumbles and slurs his words. May be why he is not as confident on stage as he use to be.

I think you are right about that. I would be surprised if Trump has ever walked into a room without saying anything though. Lol I don’t really see Buttigieg as having a significantly stronger presence than Sanders. Biden, I honestly think, is just suffering the effects of being old. He is 77. Most people start to slow down by that age. I don’t think he has a diagnosable neurological issue.

Some people thought HRC had a medical issue. I lean more toward old age. Biden though I don’t know. I thought he was going to be Obama 2.0 in terms of public speaking. Buttigieg has good posture which is why I say he kind of has it. What he lacks in presence he makes up for with how he talks. This is all subjective to the viewer though.
Frieda Posted February 16, 2020 Report Posted February 16, 2020 Biden almost died years ago from a brain aneurysm. That and being 77 will take it's toll..Trump hasn't worked a day in his life. It's easy taking over a room when you got a big mouth and are an ***** all the time. He's been that way ever since he started spending Daddy's money. Terrible leadership skills. How in the heck do you bankrupt multiple casinos?

SABRES 0311 Posted February 18, 2020 Report Posted February 18, 2020 I heard something about HRC possibly running as Bloomberg’s VP.

Someone I was talking to over the weekend mentioned that. Ugh. She lost to the biggest ***** head in all of politics. What benefit could she possibly bring to the ticket? And when are the two parties going to stop trotting out retirement age candidates? 1
5th line wingnutt Posted February 21, 2020 Report Posted February 21, 2020 Democrats won’t commit to same-day release of Nevada results. https://apnews.com/ed71910f92a2d4936e9784d27ff4e113 Vote for us, we're even less efficient than the federal government. Shades of Iowa.

Hank Posted February 26, 2020 Report Posted February 26, 2020 I'm watching it now. I'm a little surprised at all the sniping they're doing at each other. Very antagonistic.
Hank Posted February 26, 2020 Report Posted February 26, 2020 I think I could get behind Buttigieg. Maybe Biden.
Hank Posted February 26, 2020 Report Posted February 26, 2020 I don't think Bernie can beat Trump, I really hope the Dems smarten up.
Hank Posted February 26, 2020 Report Posted February 26, 2020 I think Chris Cillizza wrote a very good summary of the debate on CNN. the only thing I would disagree with her on is regarding Warren, I don't think she did as well as Chris did.

Hank Posted March 3, 2020 Report Posted March 3, 2020 If Biden gets the nomination I'll vote for him. If it's Sanders, I'm voting for Trump. Hopefully the Dems don't ***** this up today.
