People do realize that Glotov doesn’t even have a contract with the Sabres, right? I realize people love his character, but he is not a Sabre prospect. He has an AHL/ECHL deal w the Amerks. Doesn’t that make him part of the organization? Quote

And he's averaged 40 points per 82 over his still-young career. Four years left at $4.9 million looks bad. Bad fight with Torts? If your scouts like him, might be a buy-low opportunity. I'm interested in Wennberg, but I think Columbus either has to retain salary or take back money to compensate for the risk that that 59-point season is not representative of what he is. Okposo is on IR and wishful thinking anyway, but maybe they could free us of Sobotka's final season. Quote

Scottysabres Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Columbus and Ottawa connecting again. When they move Panarin and Bobs they are going to be a very different team. Wennberg is probably out of Columbus as well. Quote

Scottysabres Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 It's all going down now. Multiple trades about to come in. Quote
pastajoe Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Pens lost their top D pairing of both Letang and Dumoulin to injury tonight. They could be in the market for some D help. Wouldn’t surprise me if Botts helped out his old team with one of our D for a draft pick. Quote
Brawndo Posted February 24, 2019 Author Report Posted February 24, 2019 Bob Murray has been decreasing Brandon Montour’s Ice Time. That’s a Target. And yes on Jason Zucker Quote
Hoss Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 I’d have interest in buying low on Duclair now that he’s in Ottawa. That kid is capable and was off to a really hot start. 2 Quote
Scottysabres Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Odd that there weren't many, if any, waivers situations yesterday in to today. I'd have thought teams looking to make moves today and tomorrow would have liked the space to do so beyond noon today. Now it looks like after noon today we might see some waivers? So moves can be made between noon and 3pm tomorrow? Quote
Scottysabres Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Marc Savard @MSavvy91 A couple teams interested in Florida Panthers Mike Hoffman and I’m hearing @ArizonaCoyotes are making a real push to add him for a push to make the playoffs!! Quote

Seems to me it is a decent indicator of who is buying (vs. selling) tomorrow. 1 Quote

Each time there is new hope a change of scenery will unlock that potential, but it does not work out. Columbus is the latest failed experiment and now he's off to what, his 5th team? Quote

erickompositör72 Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Duclair has a sick skill-set, though- it's tempting if you think he just needs the right line-mates/utilization Quote
thewookie1 Posted February 24, 2019 Report Posted February 24, 2019 Duclair is supposedly unwilling to listen and has got himself in the doghouse with at least three separate coaches. Quote
