Yeah I liked ROR but his end of season interview high lighted what was wrong with that team and no denying he was a big part of that.

i'm sure he is bringing his "A" game. I just hope that our team is bringing theirs. Because I do believe we are the better team if we play our game. 

We are going to need a solid game from our goalie and D.

Upon further reflection of last several games, I think I would be okay with starting Ullmark tonight since he actually has played better his last couple of outings than Hutton. And I expect St Louis to know how to beat and be pumped to face their old team mate.

Think about this:  The only thing that defines the third defensive pairing is that Scanella is on it.  And he was a top pairing defenseman last year.  Wow, has the D turned for the better.

Are those the actual game pairings?  I don't think so.  Pilot should and is not a top pairing guy.

The underlying metrics of Pilut's play so far would indicate otherwise. He's been very good.

Those are the pairings since all 6 of them have been healthy.  And that is the order MSG had them listed in the last game.

That was my point:  Our D pairs aren't 1, 2 and 3, they're 1A, 1B and 1.1.

I am going tonight.  I have seen about 15 Sabres games here.  All losses.  I really dont understand it, yeah, most of the time the Blues were better but not always.    I saw the Drury/Briere team lose here, ran out of legs in the 3rd period.  Last year the terrible Sabres team lost in OT   

The Blues fans are rabid and loud.  My wife was surprised by the energy in that building, much more raucous than Keybank.  Sabres need to get a lead.  

Hopefully tonight will be different, I deserve to see a win.
