Two hockey thoughts:

1. We’re a different team when McCabe plays. We outplayed the Caps last night but blew it with a couple stupid plays (and ran into a hot goalie) and tonight’s game was a solid 60 too.

2. Ullmark is money on Saturdays. And it’s becoming easier and easier to imagine him in net long term for us.

I don't know.  The fact that they haven't mentioned it makes me fear the worst.

It would be wrong for them to speculate period....whether it be good news or bad news.  Being a responsible media outlet means to withhold speculating and stick to facts.

I think we're edging toward 1A and 1B goalies.

Skinner with a Bandits cap in the post gamer.

They asked him if he's ever seen lacrosse and he's like "no but I like the hat" ?

Linus with a very good game.

He really looks like he is going to be our next one.

I trust Linus more than Carter right now.

Hutts is making a lot of stupid handling mistakes lately

McCabe and Scandella as the third pair => very solid.

ANYWAY.  A nice win.  A nice result for  Ullmark.  And a nice way to go into the Christmas break.

Right. It's still commentary.

No, it isn't, and I'd think someone in the industry would know the difference.

Agreed. Also like your earlier comparison of Skinner and Verbeek. Verbeek did score over 500 goals in this league.

Hmm. Good comparison indeed.

Dahlin will likely be in between Orr and Coach Housley by his 19th birthday (April)

And he will be between Potvin and Orr in history.
